    I was verbally informed by GMAC (twice) that they had granted my request to defer my automobile payments. I then recieved a call from their collections department saying I owed a partial payment. I escalated the call to a supervisor who confirmed that there was documentation supporting my conversation regarding the deferement. She informed me that one department said yes however later a different department said no. I do not want to get an attorney involved however they are at fault and not willing to make it right even though they are the ones who sqrewed up. More...

  • Want to settle account



    Hello I contacted GMAC last week and spoke to a CSR named Wanda. At first she seemed understanding an listened then she turned mean on me. I wanted to settle my account for $1500 and she did not want to work with me. Wanda insisted on $2200 and I told her that I can only do $1500. The customer service over the years for GMAC has gotten worse and no improvement. She threatened that my account would go to further collection if I break this verbal agreement with GMAC.   • Very Unhappy (New) Customer



    VIN#1G2ZH528X54165994 Pontiac G6 (2005) The car came w/a key pad that no longer works and the 1 key given does not unlock the door nor trunk. I'm unable to lock my doors. The driver side window is getting stuck. I was told that it was a cylinder in the window. This is the 3rd set of issues I had with this car and I just purchased the car the 1st week of Nov.   • Smartlease account



    My husband and I are currently behind on our account. We have done everything, including trying to get out of the lease to resolve this matter so we do not have to continue to be berated and harassed regarding our account. We were told today that GMAC does not accept partial payments ever although we have paid them in an attempt to keep our account from further deliquency. The extensions that GMAC offer including half to whole payments which do not help because if we could do that then what is the purpose for applying for an extension?
