No Reason Refund - Mortgage


GMAC refunded my on time payment, didn't realize it until the next billing cycle, so now my credit score is a mess. I have called more than a dozen times on a dozen different days, with no explanation. I pay online through my bank, and GMAC tells me to contact my bank, and the bank tells me to contact GMAC. I get no answers just the run around. It didn't occur to me to file a complaint, until I read about this exact same scenario that is happening to countless other people.

I have had the same exact thing happen to me. GMAC calls me telling me they have not received my payment. One rep tells me to make the payment through my bank is ok to do, when another one tells me that it is not ok to do. I called today to speak w/the floor manager by the name of Trisha. VERY RUDE, and you would have thought I was her child! She would not let me explain my situation and was so caught up on them not having received my payment. Stated that I was told over and over again, that a payment through my bank was not acceptable, when that was not in fact the case. Every rep I spoke w/other than her, told me making payments through my bank was fine. I was then told today, that the only way I can make payments on my acct would be throught the GMAC website. I have never had any issues w/any of the reps, but today broke the straw. Trisha, was beyond rude. She told me that I would either pay for my vehicle, or clean it out because if the payment had not posted by the end of the business day today, she would be sending it out for reposession. Needless to say, I will be writing the BBB complaining on the fact that the way she handled me as a paying customer was beyond rude. When in fact, if it wasn't for customers as myself, she would be jobless.
